Dear God,

I pray one day I'll be happy,
And make my parents proud.
I pray one day, I won't be unhappy,
Looking for the silver lining upon a cloud.

I turned away along time ago,
Still thinking I could come back.
But then my heart froze, cold as snow,
And the hardest thing, was to come back, on your religious track.

I used to be the good girl,
Reading the Bible and going to Sunday School.
I don't want to be the bad girl,
But I made the mistake of being the fool.

I pray one day I'll be happy,
And make my parents proud.
I pray one day, I won't be unhappy,
Looking for the silver lining upon a cloud.

I hope one day I'll come back,
To the narrow religious track.
But now I'll just hope,
That I will be able to cope.

I pray one day I'll be happy,

It isn't that I'm ungrateful,
For everything you've done.
I only hope this doesn't sound hateful,
But, first I need my heart to come undone.

I can't see how this could cause offense. It's really very beautiful. Some people (like me) have had to walk in the darkness to appreciate the light. I'm still trying to find my way back as well.

This is pretty good. I used to think like this, but the important thing to realize its that everything must happen for a reason. If I feel bad about something that happened to me...then I must be getting prepared for something else later in life. You musy always wonder what that plan is, and wonder what can come from the bad in your life. Good luck eith that.
